In 2002, a newly-single mother of two founded a company called Sweet Bed Bugs, with the mission to sell quality made-to-order children's bedding and sleeping bags. Starting with a $200 investment and based out of a 100 square foot spare bedroom, she launched an e-commerce site and crossed her fingers. And now, sixteen years later, Sweet Bed Bugs sells over 1,800 sleeping bags a month. In 2004, we successfully added Danish down comforters + pillows to our ever-changing mix of merchandise. $10.00 STANDARD SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS*
Flat rate shipping applies to standard USPS, FEDEX Home Delivery, or FedEx Ground shipments to one delivery address within the continental United States. It offsets our actual shipping cost, and does not apply to exchange orders. There are additional charges for overnight, two-day air, shipping to multiple addresses, or to the states of Hawaii, Alaska and other locations outside the continental United States. Please contact us for international shipping rates and/or expedited shipping options.
Sleeping bags are made-to-order and shipped directly from our manufacturer via USPS Priority Mail, usually within 5 - 10 business days.
Down comforters, pillows, and duvet cover sets are shipped directly from our importer's warehouse via USPS Priority Mail, usually within 2 - 3 business days.
We are not responsible for merchandise that is stolen from the delivery address after it is delivered.
RETURN/EXCHANGE/CANCELLATION POLICY
We want you to be happy, so all items (except custom made or non-standard orders) have a 30-day money back guarantee. We will refund your money upon receipt of merchandise. Shipping and rush charges are not refundable. If you have a return or exchange, please call us at (800) 768-3613 for a return authorization number (RA).
1. The item must be unused, in new condition and in original packaging. Please include a copy of the original packing slip in the return shipment.
3. Non-standard (items ordered with a non-standard reverse material) and custom made items cannot be returned or exchanged.
4. All items (including the above listed non-returnable items) that have a factory defect can be returned for evaluation. No advance replacements will be sent out. If the problem is a factory defect we will repair or replace the item at our discretion. Repairs and replacements will be given priority and turn-around is typically 1 week from the time we receive the item.
5. Damaged merchandise will be replaced and/or repaired at our discretion. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect ALL shipments received by Sweet Bed Bugs for freight damage. If you find that merchandise has been damaged in transit, simply refuse the shipment. If the delivery service leaves the merchandise at the door and you are not available to inspect it for freight damage, and it is damaged you need to call the delivery service (USPS, Fed Ex or UPS) office within 24 hours of delivery and file an immediate freight claim to report damage in addition to calling us for replacement parts. You may also be asked to send us pictures of damage/defect. We will be glad to help you with all aspects of your order.
6. All order cancellations must be received by telephone within 24 hours of the original order. Sweet Bed Bugs cannot cancel or change orders without additional charges after production begins.
INFANT SAFETY
For babies under 12 months, the CPSC, the American Academy of pediatrics and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development recommend to remove pillows, quilts, comforters, sheepskin, pillow-like stuffed toys and other pillow-like soft products from the crib. Also, remove and discard all plastic bags your new bedding products was shipped in, as this bag could be a suffocation hazard for infants and children.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash separately on a cold-water setting. No bleach of any kind. Tumble dry on a low or medium setting. Cool iron, if necessary.
How to care for a Down Pillow and Comforter:
All of our down comforters and pillows are machine washable, but we do suggest that you protect your comforter from soil and wear with a duvet cover. Always choose a washing machine with the largest possible drum capacity (min. 7 kg/15lbs), and wash your duvet on a delicates setting at 60°C / 140F with high water level and low drum rotation. A mild detergent is recommended, but please: no bleach!
The washing process should always be concluded with a centrifugation at ordinary or high speed.
ALWAYS TUMBLE DRY down comforters and pillows after washing. Dry them at 60-80°C / 140-170F together with a couple of tennis balls, or regularly take out the comforter and shake it thoroughly to break up the down lumps. To avoid any odor problems, let the drying continue until the comforter or pillow is completely dry.
Do not wash your comforter and pillow too often. Smaller stains can often be removed with a firmly wrung sponge and a bit of mild detergent. Excessive washing may cause a reduction of the carrying capacity of the down filling. For you to benefit from your down products for many years, we have a few pieces of advice, which will ensure that they stay nice and clean:
